Frequently

Asked Questions

What's the best way to get to Moab?

Horse...but a car will do just fine too.

Moab is very popular road trip and adventure destination, so most people come through Moab via their own transportation (car, sprinter van, rocket ship, etc.)

If you're coming here directly, Canyonland AIrport (CNY) is your closest airport with local transportation and rental car options available. Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) is the closest large airport and is about a 4hr drive from Moab.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Probably good to know...

Check-in begins at 4 PM & check-out is at 11 AM. Need a late checkout? Just check with the front desk, and if we can't approve it for your room, you can still store your luggage with us for as long as you need.

Where is Gravity Haus located?

Right in downtown Moab.

Gravity Haus Moab is located in the heart of Moab's dining and shopping district, offering access to all the town essentials while operating as a central launching point for all the local outdoor activities and parks. Here's our location information, or check your reservation confirmation for the exact address + easiest route, especially during winter conditions.

Is parking available?

Yes, you can bring your camper van too.

Parking is included with your stay - so feel free to bring your overland rig if you need a little respite from life on the road.

Do you have bike & gear storage (or lockers)?

Yes, it's Gravity Haus, we've got room for all the toys.

Our Moab rooms are spacious spacious enough and come with 2 in-room bike racks & a modular gear storage area, if you're the type who likes to stare at your gear as you fall asleep - but we also have a humungous gear storage room, storage lockers & common areas.

You can reserve lockers at the front desk.

Can I store my bags before check-in or after check-out?

That desert won't explore itself.

Yes, bag storage is available so you can roll straight from the road and into town, or out to the parks (or from check-out to one last dirt lap).

Drop your bags with the front desk.

Is the property pet-friendly?

Good boys welcome.

We have dog-ready rooms available and spaces throughout the property. Pet fees do apply & can be paid for at booking.

*no pet fees for members

Is there a hot tub or pool?

Yes, it'll be your oasis in the desert.

We have a 2 hot tubs to rest your weary legs, and a large pool to cool off in during those hot desert days.

Pool and hot tub hours are from 10am - 11pm

Do you offer breakfast?

Of course, it's one of the best parts of the day!

Start your morning right with a perfectly pulled espresso at Unravel Coffee - our haus coffee purveyor & roaster. Once the coffee has set in, you can fuel up on light snacks to beasty breakfast burritos - feel free to grab them to go on your way out the door.

Check the hours & menu here.

Is there an on-site restaurant or bar?

Not currently - but that's why we're in town.

After you've fueled up for the day at Unravel Coffee - you can either stock up on provisions locally and enjoy your own meals in-room, or explore downtown Moab's greasy spoons, dives, diners, and more.

Is there Wi-Fi? Is it good enough for remote work?

Yes, this is Utah, not Uranus.

Wi-Fi is standard & Gravity Haus stays are designed with modern travelers in mind. If you need higher reliability (video calls, uploads), ask about the fastest connectivity areas or our coworking space.

Do you have coworking space?

Everywhere is a coworking space if you have WiFi.

We have common areas that are perfect for propping up your laptop and diving into whatever work you've got. Many opt for some poolside work action too - sorry if your coworkers are jealous.

Want more coworking? Explore our membership options so you can cowork from all of our adventurous locations.

Do you offer gear demos or rentals?

Not in Haus, but there are lots of outdoor & bike shops offering demo & rental gear, essentials, repairs & more

If you're not bringing your own gear, there are lots of shops you can grab bikes from and store in your room at Gravity Haus.

Can I ship bikes to the property?

Send it.

You're welcome to ship items to the property, just give us a call to let us know. Please note that any shipping costs will be covered by you, through the carrier of your choice.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Plans change, we get it.

Cancellation terms depend on rate type and season. The most accurate policy is the one attached to your booking confirmation (refundable vs. prepaid, blackout periods, etc.).

Do you have quiet hours?

We're all here for a good time & some good sleep.

Most hotels observe quiet hours to keep the vibes mellow at night. If you’re traveling with a rowdy group, feel free to call ahead about optimal room placements to keep everyone happy.

Is smoking allowed?

Fresh desert air only.

Most modern properties are non-smoking indoors (and often non-smoking on balconies/patios). If you need designated areas, ask the front desk.

How do I contact the property?

Fast answers, no runaround.
